Pumpkin Bread

This is the best recipe I have found for Pumpkin Bread.
Special thanks to my mother-in-law for sharing the recipe.

Dry Ingredients:

* 3 1/2 cups Flour
* 2 tsp Salt
* 2 tsp Baking Soda
* 1 tsp Nutmeg
* 1/2 tsp Cloves
* 3 cups Sugar
* 1 tsp Cinnamon
* 1 tsp Allspice
* 1 tsp Baking Powder
* 1 cups Nuts (optional)
* 1 cup Raisins (optional)

Wet Ingredients:

* 2/3 cups Water
* 4 Eggs beaten
* 1 cup Crisco oil
* 1 can Pumpkin (29 oz.)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add all dry ingredients together. Stir. Add remaining ingredients, stir well.

Grease and flour pans. Fill halfway. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes for bread pan.

Approximately 20 minutes for mini loaf pans.


Let cool. Remove from pan. Wrap in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Keep in a cool, dry place. Can also be refrigerated.

This recipe can also be used for cupcakes. Bake 10-15 minutes.

This bread tastes great all by itself or with cream cheese frosting.
