Sour Cream Cut-out Cookies

This recipe is awesome! Cookies come out light and fluffy.
They taste so good I eat them without frosting.

Ingredients:

* 2 C. Sugar
* 1 C. Sour Cream
* 3 Eggs
* 1/2 C. Butter, softened
* 1/2 C. Vegetable Shortening
* 5 1/2 C. All-purpose Flour
* 2 tsp. Baking Powder
* 2 tsp. Baking Soda
* 1 tsp. Vanilla
* 1 tsp. Almond Extract
* 1/4 tsp. Salt

Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine sugar, sour cream, eggs, butter and shortening.

Beat at a medium speed until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, almond extract and salt.

Beat at low speed until soft dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap and chill 1-2 hours or until firm.

Once dough has been chilled heat oven to 350 degrees.

On a well floured surface roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut shapes and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes.

Let cookies cool and decorate with frosting, sprinkles, m&m's or anything you like.
